Fraud Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Fraud Data Scientist to join our team in Zielona Gora. As a key member of our fraud prevention team, you will be responsible for identifying risk patterns and developing strategies to prevent fraudulent activities.

Your primary objectives will include:

• Providing expertise in fraud systems/data subject-matter-expertise in the evaluation and development of new fraud systems / tools and their implementation
• Supporting the delivery of predictive analytics and models to allow the development of new Fraud Management solutions and better understand fraud control strategies that may be deployed
• Optimizing fraud rules to maintain high performance level, best customer experience and strong fraud detection
• Rapidly identifying emerging fraud trends through data driven analysis and developing tactical/strategic fraud rules to address them

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• Two plus (2+) years of experience in Credit Risk, Fraud Risk, Modeling/Data Science or related
• Four plus (4+) years' experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Four plus (4+) years of experience utilizing data mining techniques using SAS, Python and other equivalent data science tools

We offer a competitive salary of PLN 70,000 - 90,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as:
