GRUBER Logistics GmbH is expanding its Finance team in Katowice.

Senior Accountant

Main responsibilities

  • Supervise key accounting activities, including periodic tax returns, monthly and quarterly closings, and annual financial statements.
  • Fiscal and legal advice on transportation accounting, document management, and payments.
  • Prepare general ledger entries and financial data.
  • Maintain the general ledger chart of accounts.
  • Manage bad debt provision records and actual bad debt records.
  • Prepare tax returns according to Polish GAAP.
  • Generate reports for the Central Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland, banks, and Group companies.

Required profile

To succeed as a Senior Accountant, you must possess:

  • A university degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting with medium-sized companies.
  • Practical knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations.
  • Digital proficiency.
  • A structured and autonomous work style.
  • Proactive and efficient communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good English language skills (additional foreign languages are beneficial).
  • Certified Accountant qualification is advantageous.
