Customs Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Customs Officer to join our team at Ziegler Group. As a key member of our customs department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth import and export of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process customs documents, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely customs clearance.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve customs-related issues and provide guidance on customs procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation, including customs declarations, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.
