About the Role

As a System Administrator in our Application Platforms team, you will work in Poland and Germany. We operate with various Application Servers, including Oracle Fusion Middleware, JBoss EAP, and Tomcat, to fulfill the needs of our internal developers. You will work with a high degree of independence and responsibility, focusing on automating administrative tasks to optimize platform features.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Implement, operate, and develop different types of Application Server infrastructures.
  
• Administer Oracle Fusion Middleware, JBoss EAP, and Tomcat on RedHat Enterprise Linux.
  
• Plan and implement systems automation with Puppet/Foreman to improve efficiency.
  
• Participate in general IT operations and user support.
  
• Monitor the infrastructure and ensure high availability.
  
• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
  
• Identify and mitigate system vulnerabilities.
  

Requirements

• 
  
• Fluency in English at a minimum B2 level.
  
• At least 3 years of experience as an Application Server Administrator.
  
• Advanced Linux skills, particularly with RHEL.
  
• Knowledge of systems automation with Puppet/Foreman and scripting.
  
• Good understanding of administrator principles.
  
• Experience with Apache Webserver administration.
  
• Knowledge of Active Directory architecture.
  
• Experience with ITIL.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Continuous improvement attitude and proactive mindset.
  
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  

Nice to Have

• 
  
• German language proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
  
• Experience with applications like JIRA, Nexus, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
  
• Knowledge of Docker files and container building.
  
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  
• VMWare knowledge.
