About the RoleAs a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing productivity by driving operational excellence through automation of business processes. You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining Bare Metal/Kubernetes infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach. Additionally, you will build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipeline frameworks that can be easily adopted by Product Engineering teams.
- Setup and maintenance of Bare Metal/Kubernetes infrastructure using IaC approach;
- Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipeline framework that can be easily adopted by Product Engineering teams;
- Work closely with QA engineers to provide them with reliable infrastructure;
- Build and maintain monitoring and logging solutions;
- Introduce centralized alerting and incident management system;
- Keeping infrastructure secure and up to date;
- On-call support during designated shift;
- Backups management;
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and CI/CD processes;
To succeed in this role, you should have 3+ years of proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar positions. A strong background in Linux and network engineering is also essential. Experience building internal platforms with Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued, as well as experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc. and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, BitBucket Pipelines.
