We are seeking an experienced and skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our databases in the production environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and database installations, configurations, updates, backups, and monitoring.
- Provide support for multiple environments, including development, test, and production.
- Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond, and resolve problems affecting database performance, efficiency, and availability.
- Improve and support processes to ensure zero application downtime on critical issues or during DB deployment of new application releases.
- Work according to documentation, guidelines, and policies of working procedures.
- Clearly communicate problems and resolution process to customers and/or management.
- Demonstrate commitment to outstanding customer service by continuously striving to provide the highest possible customer service; make recommendations for improving service and efficiencies.
