About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Software Engineer to join our team at Allegro, a leading consumer area company. As a member of our mobile community, you will be part of a group of nearly 20 engineers with various competences, working together to develop high-quality features for our mobile apps.

Responsibilities

As a Mobile Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new features and maintaining existing ones for our iOS and Android apps. You will work closely with designers, researchers, and analysts to ensure that our mobile apps provide the best customer experience possible.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new features and maintaining existing ones for our iOS and Android apps
  • Collaborating with designers, researchers, and analysts to ensure that our mobile apps provide the best customer experience possible
  • Working with native codebase on iOS and Android platforms
  • Participating in code reviews and pair programming to share knowledge and improve code quality
  • Attending events such as dev days and hackathons to share mobile knowledge and have a good time with colleagues
Requirements

We are looking for developers who:

  • Know and understand the perspectives of users, developers, and businesses in iOS app development
  • Understand the app development process, from design to App Store release
  • Know how to write applications using Swift, UIKit
  • Have hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures
  • Are proficient in the Xcode environment and have experience in using version control systems
  • Want to be proud of the code they create and are willing to share their knowledge during code reviews
  • Are able to find efficient solutions that match the requirements set by users
  • Want to constantly grow and update their knowledge
  • Know English and Polish at least a B2 level
