Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Cloud team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, microservices, and cloud computing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Java-based microservices;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems;
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards;
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation;
Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Java 8+ (core, lambdas, stream, collections, concurrency);
  • Good OOP skills (SOLID principles);
  • Experience with Spring Boot (Security, Data, WebFlux);
  • Understanding of multithreading, concurrency issues, asynchronous vs parallel execution;
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, blocking vs nonblocking execution;
  • Strong understanding of Microservices, API testing, working with Postman;
  • Hands-on experience of working with REST;
  • Experience with AWS services would be highly beneficial (Dynamo DB, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS);
  • Troubleshooting skills (application monitoring, debugging, profiling);
  • Experience with GitLab (CI/CD);
  • Git;
  • Playing a senior role within a Scrum Team;
  • Strong English for daily communication with client's experts and team members located across the globe.
