Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer Lead to join our team at Fedex Ground. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting software programs for enhancements and new products. This role requires a strong background in computer science, engineering, or information systems, along with 5 to 7 years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. Key responsibilities include building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and experience with source control tools like Git, as well as knowledge using ADO. Additionally, you will be working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, working with user stories and acceptance criteria. Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and troubleshoot software programs for enhancements and new products
* Build end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure
* Experience with source control tools like Git, as well as knowledge using ADO
* Work with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, working with user stories and acceptance criteria
* Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize software development projects
* Develop and implement software testing and quality assurance processes

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
* 5 to 7 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment
* Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure
* Experience with source control tools like Git, as well as knowledge using ADO
* Experience in development using Java or Springboot
* Ability in development writing interfaces such as API JSON or SOAP and webservices
* Comfort with database concepts and experience writing SQL in a relational database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and working with user stories and acceptance criteria
* Willingness to learn and explore new technologies, vast technology stack and figure out solutions, by deeper research and troubleshooting
* Experience in technical leadership roles
