R&D Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative R&D Manager to lead our team of developers and QA engineers in Wroclaw, Poland. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing multiple products, proposing development strategies, staying up-to-date with technological advancements, and overseeing delivery, quality, cost, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply knowledge to practical issues often relating to more than one functional area.
  • Provide overall direction for complex activities, offering guidance and input for any project.
  • Resolve problems requiring analysis of facts and general principles.
  • Manage work activities of the team through lower-level supervisors and individual contributors.
  • Conduct appraisals, provide feedback to employees, and handle teamwork allocations.
  • Adapt to various communication styles and interpret non-routine and conflicting information.
  • Apply knowledge of relevant policies and procedures to determine a course of action.
  • Exhibit good project and people management skills.
  • Interact with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
  • Conduct project management, resource management, customer management, estimation, and release planning for multiple products.
  • Create a motivational and positive culture within the team.
