Job Description

The IT Administrator role plays a vital part in managing and maintaining our company's IT systems, network infrastructure, and security. You will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and securely, providing technical support to staff and resolving issues promptly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including VMware servers, Linux and Windows operating systems, network devices.
  • Maintaining high availability and security across all systems through performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software according to organizational requirements.
  • Administering and maintaining servers, both on-premise and cloud-based.
  • Managing user accounts and access permissions (Active Directory, Group Policies, Microsoft 365, etc.).
  • Implementing and maintaining data backup and recovery processes to ensure the safety of company data.
  • Providing technical support to employees, resolving IT issues quickly and effectively.
  • Documenting system configurations and processes, keeping all records up to date for troubleshooting and auditing purposes.
  • Collaborating with vendors and external service providers to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role (2+ years preferred).
  • Knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Experience with IT security practices (firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection systems).
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with team members and vendors (including English - at least B2 level).
  • An interest in long-term cooperation and the development of competences in broadly defined IT administration and infrastructure.
Nice-to-Haves

We also welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Database administration (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana).
  • Certification(s) such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or similar.
  • Basic knowledge of cyber security.
