About Your Responsibilities:- You'll design and develop top-quality technical solutions based on agreed designs, following industry best practices such as continuous integration, automated unit, and integration testing
- You'll thoroughly test solutions before User Acceptance Testing
- You'll support the deployment of components to development and test environments when needed
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Java server-side development with a solid understanding of multi-threaded programming
- You have proven working history with highly available, multi-threaded, distributed systems
- You have proficiency in developing and optimizing low-latency systems
- You have experience in operating trading desks within a large, multi-site investment bank with a strong eCommerce offering
- You have hands-on practice with Foreign Exchange in a high-volume, low-latency environment
- You have working knowledge of enterprise systems and delivering business requirements using Agile methodologies
- You have an understanding of Spot FX and Forward FX market conventions
- You have a fluent level of written and spoken English
