We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Scala Developer to join our team in EPAM Systems (Poland) sp. z o.o.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week working from our offices in Wroclaw or Krakow. We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing user-friendly applications and can thrive in a collaborative team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing applications that meet the business requirements.
  • Improving current and developing new features for several trading application GUIs.
  • Collaborating with senior software engineers, PMs, BAs, and business users to find the best possible technical solution.
  • Supporting production users and investigating issues when contacted by the support team.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Familiarity with our technology stack: Scala, Functional Programming, Akka Streams, Akka HTTP, ScalaTest, Mockito, Kafka, Liquibase, Slick, PostgreSQL, Gradle, Gatling, TeamCity, Git.
  • Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven record of successful delivery and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of the Securities Lending business area.
