Financial Accountant

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for performing accurate financial calculations and recording transactions in compliance with US GAAP and accounting policies. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate calculations and recording of transactions in compliance with (US GAAP) and accounting policies.
• Support other team members in recording all intercompany transactions and ensuring no out of balance items.
• Adhere to agreed standards and procedures and in case of any deviations escalate accordingly.
• Adhere to record retention policy ensuring robust document archiving for statutory and IP internal needs.
• Support our business locations by providing information for local business analysis and also supporting the local teams with analysis on business performance and projects as required.

Requirements:

• Internships in the area of Finance or Accounting as an asset.
• Some experience in GL would be a strong asset.
• Some basic knowledge of concepts such as US GAAP and Local GAAP / IFRS.
• Knowledge of MS Office tools and knowledge of SAP would be beneficial.
• Good command of English is a must.
• Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.
