Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust and scalable ELT/ETL solutions using Snowflake
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to load and extract data from source to target
  • Collaborate with BI developers to generate insightful Power BI reports
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of data integration concepts and methodologies
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (1-3 years)
  • Extensive background in Data Warehouse solutions pre-Snowflake (10+ years)
  • Proficiency in designing and executing ELT/ETL flows
  • Proficient in navigating Snowflake, including metadata examination and SQL/JS object interpretation
  • Proficiency in Confluence
  • Practical understanding of git
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing principles and methodologies
  • Profound grasp of Data Integration concepts (streaming, batch)
  • Familiarity with DataStage structures such as sequences and jobs
  • Exposure to DataStage is advantageous
  • Mastery of SQL
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective ETL solutions
  • Strong communication skills and exceptional organizational abilities
  • A knack for problem-solving and delving into complex challenges
