Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Auditing and Compliance Expert to join our team as a Specialist Accounting. Your main responsibilities will include being the main representative for all Finance tasks in the branch, liaising with both external and internal auditors within audits, preparing statutory Financial statements, cooperating with external tax advisors on preparation of yearly CIT return, monthly VAT returns and other returns, communication with local tax authority, providing accounting related advice and support to the business units through the diagnosis of financial issues and proposal of solutions, responsible for reporting to Statistical office and Polish National bank, monitoring the changes in regulations, retained organization and Back up for Lodz branch accounting & AP, cooperation with local management and other finance departments, participation in projects/software updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work experience: minimum 2 years in a similar position in the shared service center, financial services or audit of financial institutions;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Polish;
- The position is open for experienced accountants who are looking for a new job challenge as well;
- Ability to be a key contact person for stakeholders (branch management, auditors, advisors, etc.);
- Capable in usage of MS Office applications; experience with SAP is welcome;
- Good knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS;
- Accuracy, reliability, ability to work under time pressure and tight deadlines;
- Service-oriented to key clients, proactive approach to solving tasks;
- Strong individuality as well as team player;
