Information Systems Analyst

Analyze and Improve Information Systems

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Analyst to analyze and improve our information systems and processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SQL and database management systems, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and improving information systems and processes.
  • Collaborating with department managers to gather information about business terms.
  • Updating business terms by adding technical descriptors and business context.
  • Participating in attestation process and preparing reports.
  • Metadata management - importing metadata from SQL/Oracle/DB2 databases.
  • Data lineages creation.
  • Data Quality rules development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems or equivalent direct business experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working with SQL and database management systems.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of relational database management systems, flat files, and related data structures. Familiarity with Excel (V Lookup), SQL Server and MySQL databases. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills. Self-driven, work in teams and independently if required.

Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge of InfoSphere or other data governance tool.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as required.
