Paediatrics Nurse Manager

Woodston Personnel Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrics Nurse Manager to join our client in Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the activities and functions of the assigned nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of quality nursing care and achieving optimal patient outcomes.

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate the delivery of patient care and unit/clinic operational management functions.
• Demonstrate knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the area, maintaining a high visibility to ensure patient care activities are within established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Develop and utilize effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients/families, other healthcare team members, and staff of other departments.
• Coordinate teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical, and Paramedical students, Interns, and Residents, working with all healthcare team members to improve patient care outcomes.
• Ensure provision of patient and family education based on needs assessment, readiness, and discharge planning, utilizing appropriate resources.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within the unit and develop, lead, implement, and participate in quality improvement processes and activities.
• Conduct staff performance appraisals, coaching, guiding, and counseling employees, facilitating training and professional development of staff.
• Ensure full compliance with all hospital safety precautions, maintaining an updated staff matrix of required recertifications, and ensuring availability and maintenance of all medical equipment and material supplies.
• Maintain all records pertaining to the operation of the area of assignment and generate reports as required, conducting staff meetings and maintaining minutes.
• Serve as a professional role model and resource person to nursing staff, demonstrating respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity to patients/families, other hospital employees, students, and faculty.

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution – Essential
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse – Essential
• Specific Certification as required in the area of assignment – Preferred
• Registration with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties – Essential
• Work Experience: Minimum of 8 (eight) years current clinical nursing experience following licensure/registration in the country of origin, 3 (three) years of which in specific field/area and in comparable management position – Essential
• English language – Essential, Arabic language – Preferred
