Becoming Part of a Visionary Company

Baxter is on a journey to revolutionize kidney care and other vital organ support by separating our ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company, Vantive. As a Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist at Vantive, you will contribute to defining and implementing supply planning processes that balance supply and demand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Formulating and communicating short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply and demand
  • Proactively managing supply chain risks, such as low cover, and escalating issues where necessary
  • Aligning transfer orders to demand and sending to ERP and/or local shipping systems for execution
  • Reviewing transfer order exceptions and canceling, decreasing, or postponing orders if necessary
  • Collaborating with demand planners, warehouse and distribution, cluster fulfillment, commercial, and manufacturing teams to resolve supply risks and issues
  • Leading OPLAN reviews with key stakeholders
  • Supporting the network manager with regional and global SI&OP input
  • Monitoring supply chain performance, reviewing and approving planning parameters, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Being accountable for achieving inventory targets
  • Providing input to financial planning and forecasting processes

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management, including warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service, or inventory planning
  • Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience in a similar role
  • Proficient technical skills, with experience with RapidResponse or other relevant planning systems
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, including influencing, communication, negotiating, and conflict management, in a geographically diverse, matrix organization
  • Basic project management skills and lean/continuous improvement
  • Procurement planning: in-depth understanding of controlling inventory levels based on reorder point/lead time/safety stock
  • Demand planning
  • Sales and operations planning
  • Strong leadership skills, including leading projects with broad scope and impact outside own department, and promoting teamwork between departments
  • APICS certification preferred
  • Fluent English is a must
