About the Educational Equality Institute

The Educational Equality Institute is a non-governmental organization based in Norway, dedicated to providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged girls.

In response to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, we launched the "Together for Ukraine" project, aiming to empower 100,000 Ukrainians through free educational programs, upskilling, and employment.

Job Description: Language Skills Educator

We are seeking a volunteer Language Skills Educator to join our team at TEEI. As a language educator, you will play a vital role in enhancing the language skills of our students.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing lesson plans to teach basic language skills to students.
  • Conducting online or in-person language classes for students.
  • Evaluating students' progress and providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members to develop effective teaching strategies.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to help them achieve their language learning goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring language learners.
  • Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others in a multicultural team.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Passion for empowering underprivileged communities through education.
  • Fluency in Polish.
  • A language teaching certificate is highly valued.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.

Estimated Salary: $1,200 - $1,800 per month
