About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer at Hall & Kay Fire Engineering, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in fire alarm systems maintenance, working with the latest technology and industry-recognized standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting regular servicing, PPM, and technical support on fire alarm systems for our clients.
- Maintaining fire alarm systems – Addressable and conventional – to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry regulations.
- Providing cover for other areas as required, including occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire alarm systems maintenance, gained over several years.
- Familiarity with BS5839 standards and a strong understanding of their application.
- FIA or equivalent training highly desirable.
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, quality, and customer service in all interactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, clients, and internal colleagues.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this position.
