The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of distributed data systems, data mesh principles, and experience in designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure. Proficiency in Python and expertise in federated data platforms, real-time data processing, distributed data governance, and data product design are essential.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to fine-tune requirements, iterate, and complete designs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data collection systems, working on GCP-based infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration with various data sources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing robust data infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources.
- Developing and implementing data collection systems that integrate proprietary company data and other relevant sources.
- Working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop proofs of concept, and deliver final data solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in distributed data systems, with a strong understanding of data mesh principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, with knowledge of Golang being a plus.
- Expertise in federated data platforms, real-time data processing, distributed data governance, and data product design.
- Fluent in English (minimum B2 level).
