Contribute to Innovation

As a key member of our team at HITACHI ENERGY POLAND SP. Z O.O., you will play a pivotal role in delivering R&D projects for our Liquid-filled distribution transformers. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be instrumental in preparing designs, models, and drawings, as well as coordinating prototypes manufacturing and executing testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative designs, models, and drawings using CAD and engineering systems.
  • Solve technical problems and improve designs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare prototypes for measurements and testing, and coordinate their development and verification.
  • Work closely with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Participate in tests and measurements, and drive the persistence, change management, and overall lifecycle of artifacts.
  • Parametrize models, macros, and scripts, as well as handle bills of materials.

Challenges and Opportunities

  • Work with multiple technologies within our Distribution Transformers products portfolio.
  • Overcome technical complexity, manufacturing constraints, and supply chain challenges.
  • Manage schedules and risks, and foster strong relationships with internal and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical or Product Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Creo Parametric.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supplier drawings preparation.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Understanding of standard bodies of knowledge in technical fields.
  • Ability to use external and internal standards and regulations.
  • Transformers technology experience a plus.
  • Product or machine construction and design experience.
  • Understanding of product manufacturing and testing processes.
  • Ability to make technical judgments in a field of expertise.
  • Understanding of technical documentation and drawings.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Task effort evaluation and prioritization.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and autonomous.
  • Time management.
  • Attention to details and focus on quality.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in writing scripts or low-code solutions.
  • Team working attitude.
  • Basic assembly tools and measurement equipment.
  • Fluent English.
