Senior Java Developer

The Senior Java Developer is a key member of our team, responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge solutions to complex business problems. We are currently working on the technical buildout of Iris, a modern product suite that will enhance Citi's loan hedging capabilities.
Responsibilities:- Conduct feasibility studies, provide time and cost estimates, and develop IT plans to meet specific business needs.
- Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, and make informed decisions.
- Recommend and develop security measures to ensure successful system design and functionality.
- Consult with users and other technology groups to provide advanced programming solutions and install customer exposure systems.
- Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of modern full stack software applications.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining applications with Java Spring Boot.
- Good to have experience programming in Angular (11+).
- Experience with relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience with Docker/K8s/OpenShift/AWS would be a plus.
- Results-oriented, and a quick learner of new tools and technologies.
- Fluency in English.
