About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Cloud Architect to lead the design and development of our Location Platform in Poland. As a Principal Architect, you will be responsible for driving the success of our platform through deliberate, clear, and consistent architecture, system design, and communication.

You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that automation and testing are on par with our platform quality. Your technical expertise will be essential in developing complex distributed cloud systems with high availability and billions of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture work for our Location Platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability.
  • Design and implement distributed cloud services with Kubernetes and Docker technology.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems with experience in AWS cloud technology.
  • Communicate complex systems and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in English.
  • Work with engineering teams to drive automation and testing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in delivering software products or systems in various roles, including lead engineer or lead architect roles.
  • 3+ years in architect roles.
  • Thought Leader and expert in API design, data pipelines, scripting, deployment and testing automation.
  • Experience in microservices architectural style, stream and batch processing.
  • Fluency in one or more JVM-based languages.
  • Hands-on work with engineering teams.
