Job Title: C# Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled C# Developer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. As a C# Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining front-office trading applications used by traders for market making.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software using C#, .NET Core, and Winforms technologies.
  • Work in a team-oriented environment, developing and supporting features in a functional applicative chain.
  • Build, deliver, and run applications using continuous delivery (DevOps) practices.
  • Develop software using Craftsmanship best practices, such as Behavior Driven Development, Test Driven Development, and continuous integration.
  • Deliver and support applications through continuous delivery (DevOps) practices.
  • Write unit tests, review code, and help the global team with non-regression testing.
  • Offer recommendations for process improvement.
  • Provide clear and consistent reports to clients and management.
  • Follow SG policies and procedures, such as change management, project governance, and software configuration management.
  • Provide production support for existing application features.
  • Ensure alignment with guidelines and practices from the chapter.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core development.
  • Experience in Agile, TDD, and Continuous Delivery (Jira, Git/Github, Jenkins).
  • Experience in Multi-threading (low latency) and DevExpress is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Intermediate in Polish.
  • French would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Database / SQL (preferably PostGre).
  • Knowledge of Windows servers.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and distributed team environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Functional knowledge on trading application / forex or rate market is a plus.
