The Dataprocessing Team is seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Architect to join their ranks. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable data analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize performance and workload tuning of the data analytics platform.

Technical Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in delivering highly distributed, large scale (data) platforms using open-source technologies.
  • Programming skills in scripting languages, e.g. Python.
  • Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL datastores and distributed systems.
  • Containerization and orchestration/deployment automation tools, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Experience with continuous delivery and deployment solutions, e.g. Azure DevOps.
  • Bash scripting proficiency.
  • Cloud/hybrid solution experience.
  • Security, authentication and authorization expertise.
  • Applications configuration management knowledge.
  • Designing, building, scaling and monitoring data infrastructure experience.
  • Open-source project contribution history.
  • Advanced Analytics and Data Science affinity.
