Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Solution Engineering Director to lead our team of Solution Engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality IT solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem. As a key member of our Commerce DevOps Hub, you will be responsible for guiding technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering a culture of technical creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of experienced Solution Engineers in designing, configuring, developing, and delivering IT solutions within the tech stack: Microsoft Dynamics, Azure.
  2. Drive operational excellence and ensure the team adheres to solution standards and architectural guidelines.
  3. Be an individual contributor (60-80%) customizing, configuring, and engineering solutions jointly with the team.
  4. Integrate solutions with other Heineken systems and data sources to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
  5. Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop engineering talents, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  6. Oversee and solve immediate technical challenges, coordinate solutions development, and address technical debt in the team.
  7. Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to ensure the team has a stable workload and backlog of proper size.
  8. Represent the domain in broader technical discussions across domains and create processes for documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure ongoing support.

Technology Stack & Skills

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven enterprise experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics customization and configuration: workflows, plugins, entities/tables, relationships, forms, views, and dashboards.
  • Experience in solution architecture and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) for creating custom applications and automating processes within the Dynamics ecosystem.
  • API integrations: REST, SOAP, Web API.
  • Experience in Azure components (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, etc.).
  • Programming languages: Experience with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
  • SQL and Database Management: Familiarity with SQL for querying data and understanding database structures.
  • Data Security: Understanding security best practices for handling sensitive data and managing access control.
  • OOP / SOLID / KISS / DRY mindset.
  • Proficiency in Version Control.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • About 8 years of working experience in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of managerial experience.
  • Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of mandatory technologies.
  • Experience in rollout global solutions operating across global markets.
  • Proven ability to lead teams of engineers with varying experience and adapt to team sizes from small to large.
  • Experience with working in an Agile environment.
