Quality Assurance Director

At Club Car, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality management initiatives.

With over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet all necessary requirements before they reach our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective quality controls and assurance processes.
  • Utilize business data, customer feedback, and key metrics to proactively improve quality and safety in both process and products.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.
  • Oversee product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards and supervise the operational quality department.
  • Support Operations to reduce scrap through cross-functional review, data trend analysis, and structured problem solving.
  • Coordinate customer audits, third-party audits, internal audits, and audits of products and processes.
  • Manage non-compliance and coordinate the introduction of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote adherence to ISO standards and implement quality concepts, methods, tools, and procedures within an effective Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with Production and Operations Management to provide guidance and leadership on Quality and Safety-related initiatives.

Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of experience in Quality and Safety Management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in leading and coaching others while exhibiting high influence.
  • A hands-on and collaborative approach with suitable situational leadership management style.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
  • An understanding of Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methods and tools.
  • Knowledge of General Manufacturing best practices.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
