Cyber Security Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our security operations center, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's infrastructure from emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Response: Analyze and resolve complex security incidents, including making informed decisions on escalation and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Threat Detection: Develop and optimize advanced threat detection scenarios to enhance the effectiveness of our security monitoring tools.
• Reporting and Recommendations: Create comprehensive reports and recommendations based on incident analysis and security operations activities.
• System Administration: Manage and configure SIEM, SOAR, and EDR systems, including creating custom rules, integrating with various systems, and automating processes.
• Cyber Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest threat techniques and tools, and contribute to the development of our cyber threat intelligence capabilities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business teams to improve the overall security posture of our organization.

Requirements

• Advanced Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of IT security and practical experience in analyzing security incidents.
• Technical Expertise: Have a strong understanding of technology and infrastructure, including networks, operating systems, databases, and applications.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR Systems: Proven experience in managing and configuring SIEM, SOAR, and EDR systems, including creating custom rules and integrating with various systems.
• Cryptography and Security Protocols: Have good knowledge of cryptography applications in IT and security protocols, such as TLS and IPsec.
• Attack Techniques and Tools: Be familiar with attack techniques and tools used by cybercriminals, as well as defense mechanisms.
• Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team and solve problems independently.
• Desirable Experience: Having experience in implementing projects related to DFIR, Threat Hunting, or Cyber Threat Intelligence is a plus.
