Chief Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled GL Accountant to join our team at Vantiva. This role is responsible for preparing financial statements in accordance with international financial reporting standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for managing the month close process of accounting books, ensuring they are closed on time and in good quality, and providing substantive support to the accounting and other departments.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external institutions, auditors, and internal clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring the completeness and correctness of data in the accounting financial system during the month-end process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Management of month close process of accounting books
• Substantive support to accounting and other departments
• Cooperation and communication with external institutions and auditors
• Ensuring data accuracy and completeness in accounting financial system
• Measurement of effectiveness and optimization of accounting processes

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• University degree in Finance and Accounting
• Practical knowledge of IFRS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel ability
• Very good command of spoken and written English

Estimated Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Location: Vantiva headquarters or remote work options available.
