Our Engagement suite enables us to take the gaming experience to a higher level, providing casino operators with tools to promote our games and enhancing player experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and QA engineers responsible for building our engagement tools.
  • Oversight of technical aspects of the engagement suite, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Communicate technical vision to the business and team at various levels.
  • Understand the broader context of the team, build business domain knowledge, and help set the technical roadmap for constant improvements.
  • Scope complex tasks and projects, breaking them down into manageable tasks for team members.
  • Evaluate team deliveries, ensuring comprehensive testing covers all changes.
  • Partner with Product and Project managers on prioritization, execution, work division, planning, and goal setting.
  • Develop team members' technical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, providing necessary challenges and context.
  • Maintain a strong team by leveraging or introducing project management frameworks, technical decision-making practices, and communication strategies.
  • Responsible for recruitment, retention, and effectiveness of the team.
  • Lead incident management efforts around engagement tools, from investigation to resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years leading software engineering teams in high-paced environments.
  • 7+ years of experience in developing high-volume, high-availability user-facing systems, with a solid mix of backend and frontend skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and experience working with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Experience with both Relational DBs (MySQL) and NoSQL DBs.
  • Familiarity with Java, Typescript, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, REST API, CI/CD (Gitlab CI/Jenkins).
  • Understanding of remote work requirements, including leading and communicating with people across multiple countries.
  • iGaming industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
