Risk Management Specialist

Axpo Polska sp. z o.o. is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting daily analysis and reporting of P&L and risk measures, as well as developing and implementing models for risk measurement and reporting using R and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting daily analysis and reporting of P&L and risk measures.
  • Developing and implementing models for risk measurement and reporting using R and Python.
  • Analyzing complex transactions and assessing their risk profile.
  • Enhancing the framework, processes, and tools for risk management and business intelligence.
  • Driving and testing new system implementations, including reporting systems and accounting.
Requirements
  • University degree with top grades in fields such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or similar, with a strong numerical background.
  • Knowledge of applied statistical and financial methods and modeling; familiarity with Accounting is also advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments (e.g., Futures, Swaps, Forwards, Options) and their valuation.
  • Experience in financial risk management and/or the energy/commodity trading sector, which is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in development using coding languages such as R, Python, and Dataiku.
  • Very good knowledge of Power Bi and PowerApps.
  • Fluent in English.
