About the Project

Our Irish client is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join their cybersecurity project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microservices architecture, with proficiency in Golang and experience with other languages like PHP and Python. The successful applicant will work closely with existing teams to develop new microservices and improve the functionality of the client's product portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality microservices using Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet the client's needs.
  • Identify and propose new solutions to encountered challenges, ensuring the quality, stability, and maintainability of the code base.
  • Participate in code reviews, contributing to the improvement of coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in Golang development, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in other languages like PHP, Python, and experience working with relational databases (CockroachDB).
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services, with a focus on writing high-quality, stable, and easy-to-maintain code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as GitOps and DevOps, with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
