About the Team

We're building a world-class Database Architecture and Administration team at Sapiens Software Solutions Poland Sp. z o.o. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases that meet our business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Database Solutions: Collaborate with development teams to design efficient database structures for new and existing applications.
  • Manage Database Performance: Monitor database performance and tune SQL queries, server configurations, and application interfaces.
  • Ensure Data Integrity and Security: Implement robust backup and recovery strategies using tools like RMAN, and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards (e.g., GDPR).
  • Provide On-Call Support: Offer on-call support for critical database environments as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
  • 8+ Years of Experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • In-Depth Knowledge of Oracle Database Versions
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Database Management Tools
  • Hands-On Experience with Oracle Container/Pluggable and Data Guard
  • Expertise in Backup and Recovery Using RMAN
  • Strong Understanding of Database Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
