Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Software Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, developing, and improving our Ensemble Network Controller Web UI. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for full-stack development and a strong understanding of software engineering principles.

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineers and stakeholders to ensure our product meets the needs of our customers. They will be responsible for designing, analyzing requirements, developing, implementing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions for Adtran products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop front-end applications for the Ensemble Network Controller product.
  • Deliver enhancements to existing software.
  • Contribute to feasibility studies of needed software development.
  • Document design including features definition and architecture.
  • Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
  • Develop unit and component level testing of implemented software modules and enhancements.
  • Fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
  • Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education required.
  • At least 4 years of active experience as a Front End or Full-Stack developer.
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience with developing React-based applications.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Node.JS.
  • Experience with React test frameworks (JEST or similar).
  • Excellent teamwork abilities.
  • At least B1 English proficiency level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with developing and deploying large-scale interactive React-based applications.
  • Experience with development based on GUI designs (e.g., Figma, Storybook).
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Protractor, Cypress, Jasmine, Selenium.
  • Ability to develop CI/CD flows for product.
  • Strong focus on assuring code quality.

Estimated Salary

$90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
