About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of our real-time search engine data API. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our system.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in Ruby on Rails, web scraping, and browser automation. Experience with proxy management, anti-bot detection, and fingerprinting evasion is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills and a self-starter mindset, as well as the ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new search engine integrations to optimizing API request handling. You'll also have access to cutting-edge technologies and tools, such as Hotwire, TailwindCSS, and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) for remote collaboration
