About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Ad Sales Senior Analyst to join our team at 249 Discovery Polska Sp. z o. o. in Warsaw, Poland. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting Ad sales revenue domain within COE for Domestic, driving finance transformation roadmap, and ensuring proactive and timely high-quality data preparation, models' update, and various analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update Ad sales models on a regular basis, track and verify the data to ensure it is complete and accurate.
  • Provide variance analysis to explain actual and forecasted performance of managed channels vs prior year/plan/prior forecast.
  • Support forecasts/annual budgets development by reviewing historical data and working with business stakeholders, providing recommendations of revenue drivers.
  • Prepare advertising sales analysis to understand performance (customer, agency, industry, KPI trends analysis).
  • Responsible for development and updates of standard SMT and local commercial team reporting to highlight important trends, events, or unexpected variances.
  • Manage ad hoc strategic and BAU Ad sales related financial requests, i.e., preparing business plans, financial models, and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate with Billing/Revenue Accounting/Collections teams supporting month-end closing processes, reviewing accruals, providing feedback, etc.
  • Assist the business partners with Ad sales related projects.
  • Support automation and simplification projects to improve efficiency in working in FP&A Ad sales area.
  • Exchange knowledge and share best practice working with different teams and with members of the Ad Sales Team (Digital and Linear).

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in Finance function in FP&A department.
  • Diversified experience in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, modeling, and strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated individual, detail-oriented with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of media industry dynamics and key metrics impacting revenue would be an asset.
  • Very good English.
  • Great communication skills and relationship building.
  • Ability to establish professional, trust-based relationship with variety of finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Be able to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure while showing excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in using EPM solution such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, Anaplan, Adaptive.
