Scrum Master

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Sopra Steria Polska Sp. z o.o. in an international program for a leading aerospace company.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Scrum events, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement, and supporting the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum events to ensure transparency and continuous improvement
  • Support the Product Owner in maintaining the product backlog
  • Help the team determine the definition of done and ready for the product
  • Identify and manage impediments or risks that can block the team's progress
  • Promote self-organization and cross-functionality within the team
  • Educate key stakeholders and the rest of the organization on Scrum/SAFe principles
  • Coach the team in Scrum principles to deliver high-quality features for its product
Requirements
  • Experience as a Scrum Master of an IT development team
  • Good technical and functional understanding of the development process
  • Experience in large-scale applications development
  • Leadership and facilitation skills (Servant Leader)
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to act as a facilitator
  • Conflict resolver
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes and act accordingly, flexible approach
  • Fluent English: C1/C2
  • Min. 3 years of experience

Working Conditions
  • On-site presence in the office in Gdańsk is required - 2 days/week
  • Tech stack on the project: Software Engineering activities in Java or.NET technologies, with VueJS as front-end and AWS Cloud
