Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for building, managing, and automating our AWS infrastructure. This position requires a strong knowledge of operational security, stability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems.
  • Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
  • Managing and improving system configuration and savings plans related to the AWS environment.
  • Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
  • Designing and maintaining infrastructure alerting and monitoring services.
  • Work closely with the development team to review and recommend the introduction of new technologies and vendors.
  • Includes data center as well as development toolsets and vendors.
  • System troubleshooting and problem resolution across all components of the Platform.
  • Utilize best practices for security, scalability, and provisioning of all systems related to the Platform.
  • Provide system metrics for usage, application performance, and platform stability.
  • Improve automation and supportability of the Platform.
  • Manage platform security monitoring and data protection including ownership of security screening (Nessus) and penetration testing.
  • Work closely with CISO, DPO, and CTO to maintain and improve the product's security posture and support SOC2 compliance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments.
  • 7+ years managing and supporting SaaS deployments.
  • Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, ElastiCache.
  • Knowledge of operating system administration.
  • Strong security background including SOC2 compliance knowledge.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and deployment of load balancers, web servers, databases, and a strong understanding of networking required.
