About the Role
At Imperial Brands, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Data Analytics Specialist to join our global FMCG business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data visualization and storytelling, with a strong foundation in data analysis and visualization. As a key member of our team, you will help build impactful people analytics and support our global People & Culture function.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Partner with data analysts to create and maintain Power BI dashboards and other products, ensuring they meet user needs and support business decisions.
• Provide technical support, conduct user acceptance testing, stay updated on Power BI best practices, and create documentation and training materials for the P&C community.
• Develop and maintain data architecture for Power BI dashboards, assembling large, complex data sets to meet business requirements.
• Oversee data pipelines, including collection, storage, cleansing, and feature creation, ensuring optimal ETL processes using Azure Databricks, flat files, APIs, etc.
• Work with IT and data specialists to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant data processes, while staying updated on the latest data engineering trends and technologies.

Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, Prism).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality solutions and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in ETL Processes and Tools with Hands-On Experience.
• Excellent understanding of database concepts, data modelling, and SQL querying.
• Proficiency with Azure Suite and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, VBA).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, with the ability to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and business value. Workday experience is a plus.
