Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to lead the development of our world-class software for commercial insurers. As a key member of our team, you will solve interesting and challenging problems at the intersection of large data pipelines, distributed systems, and robust infrastructure.

You will work on our client-facing application written in React + Redux and backend services created in Python + pSQL. Team members have full ownership over their projects, driving project direction and maintaining focus. Our team works in two-week sprints, collaborating with a small team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing scalable, fault-tolerant infrastructure for distributed systems.
  • Building data-driven microservices leveraging RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding customer business needs and translating them into specifications or code.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior software engineer.
  • Excellent development skills, including design, debugging, and problem-solving.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks (preferably React with Redux).
  • Familiarity with Python3 and object-oriented programming languages (Java, C++, C#, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS serverless technologies and asynchronous workflow.
  • Proficiency in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Strong communication skills and preference for an open, frank, and respectful communication style.
