We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Network Engineer to join our team at TN Poland. As a member of our Transmission Design and Configuration team, you will play a crucial role in the design, build and deployment of our transmission networks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build and deploy transmission networks using a variety of vendors such as Transmode, Ciena, Nortel, and Alcatel-Lucent
  2. Collaborate with field engineers to ensure configuration is installed, error-free, and ready for testing
  3. Maintain network security access policies and procedures
  4. Develop MOP's and Work Instructions according to Service Engineering Standards during the project's capability build phase
  5. Cooperate with Process Engineers regarding migration process definition for new projects

Requirements:

  1. Advanced optical networking skills including but not limited to CWDM/DWDM technologies
  2. In-depth knowledge of a wide range of transmission equipment such as Nokia, Infinera, Ciena, Nortel
  3. Ability to perform to a consistently high level under pressure
  4. Good understanding of transmission network environment
  5. Experience of working in a virtual team environment
  6. Experience of service provider and enterprise operational structures and processes
