About the Opportunity

The EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) team is seeking an experienced professional to join our Climate Change and Sustainability Services group. As a manager, you will lead a team of professionals in providing advisory services on climate change mitigation and decarbonization, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), non-financial reporting, and customization and implementation of ESG digital tools.

You will work closely with clients to comprehend non-financial reporting regulations and standards, develop processes and controls, undertake gap assessments, readiness assessments, and support relevant disclosure/reporting on identified material ESG issues.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading client engagements, developing and maintaining stakeholder connections, and staying up-to-date with global sustainability regulations and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute ESG reporting projects, including readiness assessments, report development, due diligence studies, sustainable supply chain assessments, and ESG strategy development.
  • Lead a team of professionals, enhancing their experience in EY GDS and developing their skills.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of global sustainability regulations and awareness of market trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Environmental sciences, Sustainability, Management, Economics, Law & Administration, or related disciplines from reputable universities.
  • 7+ years of experience preferably from a consulting background.
  • Full-working proficiency in English and German/French as an asset.
  • Relevant experience in ESG reporting on various reporting standards/regulations, focusing on GRI, TCFD, EU regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and SFRD).
  • In-depth knowledge of the ESG reporting landscape and developments globally.
