The external reporting function plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate regulatory submissions of our Line of Business. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness. You will also coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers, and SEC reporting teams.
Your primary goal will be to communicate financial information to the lines of businesses and flag potential issues. Additionally, you will participate in various aspects of the production, review, and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for various regulatory agencies.
As an External Reporting Team Member, you will adhere to proof & control procedures to ensure accurate reconciliation between regulatory filings, SEC filings, and other published financial reports. You will also ensure accurate and complete data submission to the Regulators.
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum 3 years of experience in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting. Strong skills in time management, problem-solving, written and oral communication are essential. You must be a team player, able to work effectively across diverse functions, locations, and businesses.
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not required. If you have experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or knowledge of SEC reporting/Regulatory Reporting, it is considered an asset.
