Your Role

As a Senior Enterprise Performance Management Administrator, you will serve as the primary point of contact, system advocate, and subject matter expert for the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications at Jacobs. Your responsibilities will include maintaining, providing governance, testing, troubleshooting, and administering processes as a systems liaison to support the business. This will involve actively monitoring, performing validations, and troubleshooting across application integration points. You will also ensure the smooth operation of the production environment, escalating issues to relevant teams when necessary.

You will be the subject matter expert (SME) for EPM applications at Jacobs, covering Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Enterprise Planning and Budget Cloud (EPBCS), Financial Data Quality Management EE/Data Management, and Oracle E-Business Suite for Master Data Management. Your expertise will be essential in building relationships with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, and other key stakeholders, collaborating with IT/ERP teams to support financial systems. Understanding the business is crucial to identifying enhancement and efficiency opportunities in the EPM suite and proactively implementing them. Staying current on the latest EPM/Hyperion technology and release notes is vital to anticipate future business needs and enhance productivity and business user capabilities. Opportunities for growth and learning arise from cross-training with other EPM team members and participating in cross-functional projects, representing Corporate Finance as the SME for the EPM suite.

You will excel in the following areas:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting business rules, data load procedures, and automation scripts.
• Maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process maps for EPM applications.
• Mitigating risk, advocating for application best practices, hosting user training, and assisting users.
• Managing application requests for change and new enhancements, including hosting discovery meetings to define requirements with business/technical teams.
• Evaluating technical designs, developing, and coordinating unit/SIT/acceptance testing to ensure controlled release to the production environment.
• Ensuring adherence to SOX and Internal Control Matrix procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional administration experience with Hyperion v11.1X/EPM Cloud/Essbase.
• Consulting experience or minimum (2) implementations on-premise/cloud.
• Proficient with multi-dimensional cube designs (ASO or BSO), considering best practices, tuning, and performance optimizations.
• Experience with financial close/consolidations/planning-forecasting business process.
• Experience with system governance, including establishing and enforcing policies.
• Willingness to work in a global team with various time zones, including overlap with the US.

Preferred Skills

• EPBCS, including Workforce and Projects modules.
• EPM Cloud security models.
• Reporting concepts, Management Reports/Financial Reporting, Smart View, Forms, Grids, etc.
• Calculation Manager, development of custom business rules, MAXL scripting, Groovy, etc.
• EPMAutomate, Visual Basic scripting, lights-out/batch process control.
