We're looking for a Tax Manager - Pillar 2 Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires expertise in tax law and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with the new Pillar 2 rules, which aim to ensure a global effective minimum taxation of 15% for all large multinationals.

The role will involve scoping, data collection, transitional and permanent safe harbours, ETR calculation, determining which entity pays the tax, and filing of the return. The successful candidate will have a university degree, tax knowledge and experience, IFRS or local GAAP accounting knowledge and experience, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Scoping: Determine which entities are in scope for which provisions of Pillar 2 and set up a timeline for reporting.
  • Data collection: Collect and analyze data to ensure compliance with Pillar 2 rules.
  • Transitional and permanent safe harbours: Identify and apply transitional and permanent safe harbours to reduce the burden of Pillar 2 compliance.
  • ETR calculation: Calculate the effective tax rate (ETR) for each jurisdiction and determine the top-up tax due.
  • Determining which entity pays the tax: Determine which entity is responsible for paying the top-up tax.
  • Filing of the return: Prepare and file the GloBE International Return with the tax authorities.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Tax knowledge and experience
  • IFRS or local GAAP accounting knowledge and experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent English
