Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional who can define overarching test strategies with our team of test experts. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in testing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate in a changing environment.

  • The selected candidate will oversee testing activities, provide support, motivate, and assess performance of test experts and analysts.
  • He/She will contribute to the determination of resource utilization and lead the definition and evolution of agile test practices.
  • The DevOps Test Strategist will ensure the implementation of test standards and best practices for the agile model and contribute to their development.
  • He/She will engage with internal stakeholders to seek alignment and collaboration and deal with external stakeholders/vendors.
Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for specifying the testing for the implementation of a set of initiatives. He/She will meet objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and manage associated risks.

  • He/She will have a direct and controlling impact on the results of testing for our communications roadmap, contributing to the fact that there is no disruption to mission critical business services in this area and maintaining a clear competitive advantage for the company.
  • Decision-making involves the use of judgment within the scope of the defined strategy.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • At least 5+ years of professional experience working with Testing.
  • Test management experience in handling cross-functional multi-platform projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, active listening) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level.
  • Very good analysis & investigation skills; ability to break down complex problems and develop solutions.
  • Ability to operate in a changing environment and participate in the change process.
  • Experience in managing and coaching teams (virtual and direct ones).
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills at different levels of management.
  • Solid knowledge of Business and financial drivers.
  • Proven experience to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control.
  • Assertiveness in driving tasks to completion.
  • Experience with offshoring.
  • Experience in and supporting agile practices and methods in testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools including Selenium, Azure Test Plan, HP QC, Selenium, Tosca, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing/automation procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • High-level technical writing skills.
  • Experience in working with agile lifecycle and/or tracking and process management tools.
