About the JobWe're looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our Global Business Services Projects Team. As a key contributor, you'll lead high-quality SAP S/4HANA implementations, leveraging your expertise to drive strategic initiatives and scale project capabilities. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver value and advance Bayer's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement programs and projects to achieve strategic targets, ensuring effective budgeting and resource management;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues;
- Develop comprehensive project plans and resource allocation strategies, managing budgets and ensuring timely delivery;
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and address project risks proactively;
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring proactive management throughout the project lifecycle;
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members to promote professional growth.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent;
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years focused on SAP S/4HANA;
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing);
- Proven experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA);
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- An outcome-oriented mindset focused on driving successful project results;
- Customer-centric approach to engage and enhance client satisfaction by co-creating solutions;
- Proven ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel;
