Senior Tech Manager Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Tech Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in leading the delivery and operation of digital capability within external manufacturing and supply chain processes within a regulated environment.
The role will involve collaborating with external manufacturing operations teams and other GSK functions to build local capability and drive measurable value from existing and new innovative technologies.
About Your Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leadership teams to prioritize key tech projects and strategy for the business over multiple years, benchmarking with other GSK sites and externally within the industry.
- Manage local tech team and budget in the delivery of foundational and advanced and innovation projects relating to tech to maximize value for the site working within agile, value-driven methodology.
- Act as site tech subject matter expert (SME), maintaining and sharing deep domain tech expertise and knowledge, facilitating input from other internal and external subject matter experts when appropriate.
- Champion digital and technology capability building across all site teams, working with leadership teams to identify and resolve any capability gaps.
- Lead cross-functional teams at site to deliver value through digital and technology led projects.
- Build internal and external collaboration with tech vendors, external companies and other industry bodies in addition to collaborating with GSK functions to stay current with the latest tech and industry trends.
- Drive digital and technology operations to ensure site tech remains secure and minimize vulnerability risks.
About Your Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a science, engineering, computing or similar discipline.
- Experience in delivering and operating complex digital capability with significant business change using agile methodologies.
- Managing diverse stakeholder groups aligning business outcomes to digital interventions.
